Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move frozen and refrigerated products safely
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Monitor and document storage temperatures to comply with food safety standards
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols for cold storage facilities
- Collaborate with team members for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
