Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in zero-degree environments
- Perform inventory audits using barcode scanning systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with precision timing
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Implement FIFO rotation systems for perishable inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass certification test)
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license
