Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move pallets in and out of refrigerated trailers and storage units.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and stock verification using handheld scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Temperature Control: Monitor cold storage units and maintain strict temperature logs to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package items to prevent damage and apply shipping labels accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in cold environments.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not mandatory.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
