Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment for defects and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Verify inventory accuracy and update stock records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures strictly.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to workplace protocols.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) is preferred.
