We are seeking dedicated Cold Storage Workers to join our dynamic team in Orlando, Florida. As a critical member of our logistics operations, you will ensure the safe handling and storage of perishable goods in our state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload refrigerated trucks and shipments.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage products using RF scanners to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety and food safety regulations.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing aisles.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or spoilage and report issues immediately.
- Equipment Care: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on all provided equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in cold environments (below 40°F).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- License: Valid forklift certification (we provide training for the right candidates).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs require.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
