Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to strict sanitation protocols.
- Sort, pack, and organize inventory in designated cold storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval.
- Monitor and document temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety and product quality standards.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory status and locations.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold storage environments (temperatures below 35°F) for extended shifts.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not strictly required.
- Forklift certification is a plus but training may be available.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
