Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport palletized goods within the cold storage facility and loading docks.
- Monitor and maintain the temperature of storage areas to ensure product quality and safety compliance.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move heavy inventory stacks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures may drop below 40°F).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weighing.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required for entry-level roles.
