Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated (-20°F to 45°F) and frozen (-10°F to 0°F) zones
- Coordinate inventory rotation and FIFO compliance via remote inventory management systems
- Perform quality control checks on perishable goods using digital inspection tools
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated storage systems
- Document storage conditions and inventory movements via mobile reporting apps
- Collaborate with remote logistics team for shipment scheduling and tracking
- Participate in quarterly remote safety training and process optimization sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for 4-6 hour shifts
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., Fishbowl, Oracle)
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Basic HVAC knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Reliable transportation to facility (3 miles from downtown Nashville)
