Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in -20°C frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to efficiently load/unload refrigerated trucks
- Conduct daily inventory audits using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Enforce strict safety protocols for cold environment operations
- Train new team members on warehouse procedures and equipment handling
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Implement FIFO rotation practices to ensure product freshness
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Ability to work in -20°C environments for extended periods
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Spanish bilingual preferred for team coordination
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge for refrigeration systems
