Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize products in cold storage units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Conduct quality control checks on perishable items
- Adhere to strict food safety and HACCP protocols
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
