Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones (0°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient product movement
- Conduct inventory audits using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all tasks
- Sanitize equipment and facilities using approved cleaning agents
- Load/unload trucks with temperature-sensitive products
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments with appropriate gear
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass background check and drug screening
