Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems and WMS software
- Load/unload refrigerated trailers with temperature-sensitive products
- Maintain strict HACCP compliance and sanitation protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods (meat, produce, dairy)
- Train on OSHA safety standards and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- 1+ years cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy with RF scanner proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Reliable transportation with flexible availability (including nights/weekends)
- Prior experience with perishable inventory management preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
