Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity levels in cold storage units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Conduct inventory audits using WMS systems and RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Operate and sanitize refrigeration equipment and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment schedules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-freezing temperatures
- Basic computer literacy and RF scanner experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
