Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and digital systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trailers
- Monitor temperature-controlled environments to ensure product integrity
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Comply with OSHA and FDA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
