Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Execute inventory management procedures with RF scanning technology
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless dock operations
- Maintain accurate documentation of temperature logs and product transfers
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in 0-40°F refrigerated environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid California driver's license required
