Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls in refrigerated warehouses (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize inventory rotation using FIFO methods in cold environments
- Conduct daily quality checks on perishable goods and packaging
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and document readings
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and safety standards for cold storage
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory documentation
