Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and maintain organized inventory in cold storage facilities
- Monitor and record temperature/humidity levels using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move temperature-sensitive products safely
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all daily operations
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize cold storage efficiency
- Complete accurate inventory logs and shipping/receiving documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
