Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory counts and documentation in WMS systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Operate cold storage equipment following OSHA safety guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient product rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
