Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport palletized goods in and out of refrigerated storage units.
- Conduct thorough inspections of inventory for damage, temperature logs, and quality assurance.
- Organize stock efficiently to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and food handling regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (below 40°F) for extended periods.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and counting.
- Reliable transportation to the Jersey City facility.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
