Responsibilities
- Operate refrigeration systems and temperature monitoring equipment to maintain optimal cold storage conditions
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive goods using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory audits and cycle counts in freezer/cool-down areas
- Maintain strict hygiene protocols and sanitation standards for FDA compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to maintenance supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods (4°C/39°F and below)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and temperature logs
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for equipment operation)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
