Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in cold storage zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments
- Inspect and record product quality/temperature during receiving/shipping
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Perform inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following USDA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in cold conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
