Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated/freezer equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated sorting systems
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Perform inventory audits using RF scanning technology
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety standards for food handling
- Document inventory movements via warehouse management system
- Sanitize and maintain equipment per FDA guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored training
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper technique
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Reliable transportation with flexible availability
