Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move frozen/dry goods within -10°F to 40°F environments
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment daily for safety compliance
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using proper stacking techniques
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
- Maintain accurate shipping/receiving documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Proficient with RF scanning technology preferred
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
