Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated and frozen storage systems while maintaining optimal temperature ranges
- Safely load/unload pallets and products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure product integrity and compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including PPE usage and hazard prevention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions
- Uphold sanitation standards for food safety compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
