Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in cold storage units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated equipment safely
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report discrepancies
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols (HACCP, OSHA)
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate logs for temperature, inventory, and safety checks
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights/weekends)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with proper gear
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
