Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Inspect and sanitize storage areas to comply with food safety standards
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with precision
- Monitor inventory levels using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Document storage conditions and maintenance activities
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 0-40°F refrigerated environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Valid driver's license required
