Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity levels in cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks
- Conduct inventory counts and manage stock rotation (FIFO) systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Perform routine sanitation and pest control procedures
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely product distribution
- Document temperature logs and operational reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends/holidays)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
