Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory counts and cycle counts in cold storage zones
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Operate and sanitize refrigeration equipment and storage systems
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation practices
- Complete safety inspections and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible schedule availability (nights/weekends as needed)
