Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in cold storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, load, and unload refrigerated trucks and warehouse equipment
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with safety protocols
- Conduct inventory checks and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA sanitation standards for food safety
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
