Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport pallets of goods in and out of refrigerated storage units.
- Monitor and record storage temperatures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Perform daily inventory checks and rotate stock to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect products for damage or spoilage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist in packaging and labeling shipments for timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in extreme cold environments (temperatures often below 40°F).
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification is a major plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
