Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration monitoring systems
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts using barcode scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for food handling
- Load/unload temperature-controlled shipments with precision
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
