Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation protocols in all storage areas
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and inventory management knowledge
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
