Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and maintain inventory accuracy
- Monitor and record temperature/humidity levels in storage units
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments (32°F-40°F)
- Sanitize equipment and maintain facility cleanliness per HACCP standards
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods before storage
- Collaborate with team to optimize storage space and efficiency
- Complete daily safety inspections and incident reports
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain company certification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
