Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets of merchandise from trucks using forklifts and hand trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Monitor and maintain the temperature of the storage areas to ensure product integrity.
- Inspect equipment for damage and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow strict safety guidelines regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for distribution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment (32°F - 38°F).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
