Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and logging in refrigerated zones
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Operate and sanitize temperature-controlled equipment
- Conduct routine inventory audits in cold environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends as needed
