Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move pallets of products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a refrigerated environment.
- Inventory Control: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, scan barcodes, and maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper lifting techniques and emergency procedures.
- Packaging & Labeling: Inspect, package, and label products for shipment with precision to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders efficiently during peak operational hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not mandatory; training provided.
- Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in temperatures below 40°F and flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
