Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct routine inventory counts and stock rotation in cold environments
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Operate and sanitize refrigeration equipment and monitoring systems
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activity reports accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license mandatory
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
