Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Inspect and operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Load/unload shipments while adhering to food safety protocols
- Conduct inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all storage areas
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines for cold environments
- Assist in quality control inspections of perishable goods
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (refrigerated/freezer environments)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends
