Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) monitoring and documentation in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment for efficient product movement
- Perform inventory counts and cycle checks using WMS systems with 99% accuracy
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment following HACCP and FDA protocols
- Inspect product integrity and report quality deviations to warehouse supervisor
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards for cold environment hazards
- Coordinate cross-functional team loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Maintain organized FIFO inventory rotation system
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
