Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal refrigeration conditions (-10°F to 40°F) using digital climate control systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with perishable goods using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Conduct daily inventory audits of frozen/dry goods via RF scanning technology
- Implement HACCP safety protocols for food handling and cold chain compliance
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with OSHA certification
- Perform sanitation procedures to meet FDA/USDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock scheduling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to complete)
- Reliable transportation with flexible weekday/weekend availability
