Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts using handheld scanners
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP/SQF standards)
- Operate and clean refrigeration equipment and material handling tools
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activities in digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible schedule availability (nights/weekends as needed)
