Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in scanning, labeling, and organizing stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Palletizing & Packing: Stack and secure goods properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within the designated timeframes.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory tracking.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with supervisors.
