Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move palletized inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Organize stock in designated cold storage zones, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages, discrepancies, and temperature compliance.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols regarding cold environment handling and material safety data sheets (MSDS).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs using warehouse management systems and perform cycle counts.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly; comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 35°F to 45°F.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not mandatory for paid training.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
