Responsibilities
- Operational Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies while operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Material Handling: Efficiently load, unload, and stage freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock movements within the warehouse.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable forklift experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and team members.
