Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload pallets of goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and maintain precise inventory records.
- Temperature Control: Monitor storage units to ensure products remain within safe temperature parameters.
- Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including shipping logs and quality checks.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to read and understand safety instructions.
