Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Organize and stock inventory within the cold storage facility to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Monitor and maintain temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform daily sanitation and cleaning of storage areas and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment to customers.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and checking.
- Must be able to work in temperatures between 30°F and 40°F.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
