In this role, you will ensure the integrity of our supply chain by maintaining rigorous standards in our climate-controlled environments. You will work closely with our inventory management team to ensure accuracy and safety at all times.
Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stack pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in cold environments.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform cycle counts and verify stock levels against digital inventory systems to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Temperature Compliance: Monitor freezer and cooler units regularly to ensure they remain within safe operating temperatures.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping floors and removing debris.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and paperwork regarding temperature checks and shift activities.
- Equipment Care: Inspect equipment for damage and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 40°F.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent work history.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management and safety protocols.
- Forklift Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts is highly preferred (certification required).
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from team leads.
