Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Inventory Management: Load, unload, and organize products within the refrigerated environment, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols, including proper lifting techniques and cold-weather safety gear usage.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature controls within the storage units to ensure product integrity.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in the storage aisles and work areas to prevent accidents and ensure a professional environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in cold temperatures.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is a plus.
