Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move palletized goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and product integrity.
- Stock Management: Organize and maintain inventory within designated zones to ensure optimal workflow.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments (typically below 35°F).
- Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
