Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working order.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas while maintaining accurate records.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
